Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the public website of Summit Language School (SLS) (https://summitlanguageschool.com/), the school management system SLS ERP (https://summitlanguageschool.com/slserp/), parent/student portals, and related Google-connected features. By using these services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Summit Language School is an educational institution in Sadat City, Menoufia, Egypt. Contact: (048) 2679170 / 01080072507 / 01105608982 / 01203416464. SLS ERP and related portals are operated by the school for enrolled students, parents/guardians, and authorized staff.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- Public website pages may be viewed by visitors without an account.
- SLS ERP and portals require authorized school accounts. Staff, parents, and students must use credentials issued or approved by the school.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- The school may suspend or revoke access if credentials are misused, shared without authorization, or used in a way that harms system security or school operations.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, servers, or backups
- Interfere with system availability, integrity, or security
- Upload malware, scrape data aggressively, or reverse-engineer protected systems without permission
- Use the services for unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or fraudulent purposes
- Share confidential student, parent, or staff information outside authorized school use
4. School records and content
Academic records, fees data, messages, applications, and other school content in SLS ERP remain under the school’s administration. Users may only access information they are authorized to see. Public website content (text, images, branding) is owned by the school or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
5. Google-connected features
Some features may connect to Google with consent (for example staff Google sign-in, or Google Drive used only for authorized school system backups). When you authorize Google access:
- You grant the permissions shown on Google’s consent screen
- Use of Google user data is limited as described in our Privacy Policy
- You may revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account; some school features may stop working until re-authorized by an administrator
6. Privacy
Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the services, you acknowledge that policy.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the website and SLS ERP available and secure, including routine maintenance and backups. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled or emergency maintenance, network issues, or third-party outages (including Google) may temporarily affect services.
8. Disclaimers
The services are provided for school operations “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, the school disclaims warranties not expressly stated in writing by the school administration. Public website information is general and may change; official academic or fee decisions are those recorded by the school.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Language School is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, portals, or SLS ERP, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (for example proven willful misconduct where mandatory rules apply).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect system or legal changes. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply. Material changes may also be communicated through school channels when appropriate.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes related to school services should first be raised with the school administration in Sadat City, Menoufia.
